Marella took our family photos just this past August while we vacationed on Oahu. After doing some extensive research on-line I fell in love with her amazing photographs and style and decided to contact her. She quickly responded and we set up a date and time.
Once on Oahu I had picked out the place I wanted the pictures taken but an endangered Monk Seal had taken residence at the same beach and the beach was closed. Marella was very accommodating and open to make a location change or day change last minute if necessary. Luckily, the Monk Seal left a few hours before our photo session so we were able to use our preferred spot.
Marella arrived right on-time and couldn’t be more professional yet personable. She was patient with our six-year-old and three-year-old daughters and took many beautiful family portraits as well as some great ones of me and my husband. The lighting and colors were amazing. Her style is a perfect combination of classic yet artistic with excellent composition .
Since returning home to CA I’ve followed some of her photography on FB because I love her photographs so much. My husband and I got married on the Big Island eight years ago and flew our photographer over from CA because I was so particular. I only wish I had known about Marella as I love the photographs she took better than our wedding photos!
